Help families in financial crisis

A financial crisis can happen to anyone. A job loss, a house fire or a bereavement can result in families facing impossible choices between heating and eating. Council-run emergency funds are a vital part of the safety net to help people who are in financial crisis due to an emergency or other unexpected circumstance.

But a vital part of that safety net is at risk.

Across the country council-run emergency funds are closing, with many more at risk  leaving families in crisis feeling that they have nowhere to turn

Please contact your council and ask them to give families in financial crisis better support, to protect them now and in the future.
