Urgent action is needed to keep all teenagers safe.

Worryingly, research suggests that life for teenagers in 2025 is becoming more and more challenging, with 15-year-olds in the UK reporting the lowest wellbeing in Europe.

Yet, it can be hard to understand exactly what teens are thinking and feeling. For the parents and adults in their lives, 'teen speak' and social media can feel like a different world.

Unable to access the help they need, teens are finding themselves in toxic online spaces, vulnerable to extreme ideology or becoming isolated from their family or friends, with drastic consequences.

This isn't good enough. The struggles of teenagers are being overlooked.

With preventative, early support, teenagers could develop the tools they need to cope with the challenges they face, rather than facing life alone.
