'Adolescence' reveals reality for UK teenagers. We need action now to keep all teenagers safe.

The struggles of teenagers are being overlooked; 'Adolesence' awakens us all to the clear challenges they face. Teenagers are children too and they need our urgent help.

The Netflix drama 'Adolescence' is a fictional portrayal of the life of a 13-year old and his family in Yorkshire, struggling with the awful consequences of isolation, bullying and the online trend of extreme misogyny.

Yet, for children across the UK, elements of this story aren't just fiction. They're a reality. 15-year olds in the UK report the lowest average life satisfaction across Europe, and the support they need just isn't there.

Unable to access the help they need, children are finding themselves in toxic online spaces, vulnerable to extreme ideology.

And while 'Adolescence' has started a national conversation about these dangers, we urgently need action to keep all children safe, through preventative, early help.

Together, we can ensure they get the support they need. Sign now if you agree.
