Early support for young people's mental health is essential, stopping crisis in its tracks -- but right now, too many children are waiting months or even years for support. This cannot continue.
By reaching children where they are, we can change this. Schools in particular have a vital part to play. As the places where young people spend so much of their time, schools are uniquely positioned to intervene early to keep children safe.
We are calling on the Secretary of State for Education, Bridget Philipson, and Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, Wes Streeting, to commit to providing mental health support in all schools.
This must meet young people’s needs. Please add your name to the petition.
